Apr 2014 – Sep 2022 | Delinea – UX Designer
Formerly Centrify Corp. Thycotic & Centrify Merged and rebranded Delinea Inc. in February 2022.
Centrify – First hire of the newly created UX department. Updated and improved the web portal software with new navigation layouts and designed new software features. Created and maintained the Sketch Symbol Library for the growing Style Guide and internal design files. Updated and improved the Centrify Mobile app through numerous versions.
Delinea – Helped integrate Centrify’s software with Thycotic’s software during the merger with both companies to form Delinea.
Feb 2013 – Feb 2014 | Microsoft Dynamics – UX Designer
Worked with the lead UX Designer and development teams to develop next-generation point-of-sale (POS) software targeted at tablets and smartphones along with an online store website. Produced wireframes, hi-def comps, redlines, icons, and graphic design visuals when needed.

May 2012 – Aug 2012 | The Seattle Times – UX / UI Designer
Designed the UI and produced detailed specification documents for the next version of their mobile website with enhancements targeted at iPads and iPhones. Helped refine the current Seattle Times mobile website. Helped set up and run a week-long usability study.

Jan 2007 – Jan 2012 | Motricity – Sr. Designer, User Interface
Defined the overall visual design for a suite of web-based software tools targeted at mobile phone carriers to develop mobile app web stores, mobile advertising networks, SMS campaigns, and mobile internet portals for cell phones. Produced conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mock-ups, and prototypes. Produced and maintained detailed user-interface specifications. Produced graphic assets, icons, and print graphic design when needed. Assisted with usability studies and product testing.
April 2005 – Jan 2007 | Infospace – Graphic Designer/Product Designer
Concept and design of support graphics for marketing presentations that include, but are not limited to, diagrams, graphs, screenshot mock-ups of mobile applications, and companion websites if applicable. Also produced graphic assets for product demos and developed Flash prototypes for user testing.
Infospace mobile division was bought by Motricity in 2007.
Feb 2004 – Dec 2004 | Microsoft – Windows Extensions – Product Designer
User Interface and Product design for various future software concepts and releases. Extensive use of Photoshop for high-definition comps. Use of Flash for prototypes along with Dreamweaver for internal websites. Produced graphic assets for software products. Print design when needed.

Nov 2000 – Dec 2003 | Microsoft – windowsmedia.com – Graphic Designer
Website design for future versions of windowsmedia.com and internal websites relating to Windows Media and Plus. Design of various web pages and daily graphics for the current windowsmedia.com website. Print design when needed.

May 2000 – Nov 2000 | Microsoft – MSNBC.com – Graphic Designer
Worked for the Sports and News sections designing feature graphics for breaking news on a daily basis and the Olympics section for the Summer Olympics in Australia. Other design duties included graphics for feature articles in other sections and various navigational buttons, banners, and logos, along with various promotional print projects.

Responsible for introducing high design standards to a growing trading card producer. Work included a diverse set of tasks encompassing corporate identity, product & packaging design, and advertisement design. Involved in product planning with various copywriters and marketing executives. Provided creative direction for production artists.
Mar 1996 – May 1997 | Cedar Graphics, Inc. – Graphic Designer/Pre-press Manager
Provided the printing department with black/white and 4-color separated film and polyester plates for various products ranging from business cards to 4-color promotional catalogs and brochures I designed or were provided by clients. Provided support and maintenance of the growing Mac computer network. Provided creative direction for Production Artist.
May 1993 – Mar 1996 | Appaloosa Journal – Senior Graphic Designer
Responsible for the design and layout of features, articles, columns, advertisements, and promotional materials for a 200+ page, color, monthly magazine for the Appaloosa Horse Club.
